We pride ourselves on creating a high quality of life and providing a sense of family for our residents and staff, all within a homely environment. Our excellent people provide exceptional care.

We are always looking for great people who want to join us, so if you want to work for a company that genuinely invests in its staff, then please get in touch. Here’s some more information about job roles that we advertise regularly.

Registered Nurses

Being a Registered Nurse at Ultimate Care Group is a hugely rewarding and challenging role. Aged care is a privileged profession to be in. You will get to make a huge difference in the lives of our residents and their families. As part of a privately owned specialist aged care services provider, you will be fully supported with professional development and career growth.

Our Registered Nurses take responsibility for resident assessments, so we insist that our nurses have sound clinical assessment skills. We actively encourage our nurses to run shifts and be responsible for caregivers and staff. Our role is to help develop and grow your leadership and management skills.

As well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, and preferably previous experience in aged care, you must have:

  • A current practising certificate (APC)
  • A minimum of 2 years experience as an RN in New Zealand
  • Sound IT skills and the ability to write reports, care plans and other documentation
  • The ability to work alongside residents and their families and develop long term relationships
  • Sound assessment skills
  • Flexibility in your hours - Shift work which includes weekends as we provide 24/7 care to our residents

It is fundamentally important that you have a passion to work with the elderly. Being a part of our nursing team is more than just a job. In our facilities, we focus on a ‘resident first’ care approach. Our residents need your help in addition to your clinical care and support.
