Last week we celebrated Japanese Foundation Day. February 11 is National Foundation Day, a national holiday for Japanese people to remind themselves of the nation's founding and foster their love for the nation.  Our residents enjoyed their time out in the wonderful Wellington weather, listening to the planes fly overhead, drinking their glasses of wine and making some beautiful Japanese fans.
