Re: Covid - managing omicron

We are writing to update you on managing Covid within Ultimate Care Allen Bryant. All our staff undergo testing before each shift, and our residents, if they are symptomatic.

Over the weekend, some more of our residents have tested positive for Covid-19. We know news like this can be distressing as it is now near to those we love. However please be encouraged that this is a scenario we have anticipated, and all our staff are well trained and prepared. This is being managed in accordance with our internal policy and procedures, alongside Public Health, and our local DHB.

As a further precaution, we are advising that the decision has been made to keep the facility closed to all non-essential visits until Tuesday 10th May. Covid testing will continue to take place today.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, or distress, this may cause and will welcome visitors again as soon as practical and safe to do so.
