Back Ultimate Care Bishop Selwyn - COVID 19 Update

26 May 2022

Dear Family & Friends of Ultimate Care Bishop Selwyn

Re: Covid onsite at Bishop Selwyn

We have several of our residents that have tested positive for Covid-19. As a result, we are advising that the decision has been made to close Bishop Selwyn to all non-essential visits effective immediately, with view to open Monday 30th May. We will update you if this needs to be extended.

Our staff are also affected and isolating. Again, we will remind you that they are well trained and prepared for this scenario and this is being managed in accordance with our internal policy and procedures, alongside Public Health, and our local DHB. All our staff undergo testing before each shift, and our residents, if they are symptomatic.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, or distress, this may cause and will welcome visitors again as soon as practical and safe to do so.

Thank you for your understanding and trust that you are staying well. Take care.

Warm regards

Jill Darcey
General Manager
