You will get to make a huge difference in the lives of our residents and their families. As part of a privately owned specialist aged care services provider, you will be fully supported with professional development and career growth.

Our Registered Nurses take responsibility for resident assessments, so we insist that our nurses have sound clinical assessment skills. We actively encourage our nurses to run shifts and be responsible for caregivers and staff. Our role is to help develop and grow your leadership and management skills.

As well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, and preferably previous experience in aged care, you must have:

  • A current practising certificate (APC)
  • A minimum of 2 years experience as an RN in New Zealand
  • Sound IT skills and the ability to write reports, care plans and other documentation
  • The ability to work alongside residents and their families and develop long term relationships
  • Sound assessment skills
  • Flexibility in your hours - Shift work which includes weekends as we provide 24/7 care to our residents

It is fundamentally important that you have a passion to work with the elderly. Being a part of our nursing team is more than just a job. In our facilities, we focus on a ‘resident first’ care approach. Our residents need your help in addition to your clinical care and support.

Working for Ultimate Care Group is more than just a job. We ensure that our residents are always put first and that our people emulate empathy, create companionship and encourage independence for our residents. Fundamentally, our caregivers provide happiness every day.

The Ultimate Care Group can provide you with structured learning and development to achieve qualifications in aged care and can guarantee that every single day you will be making a huge difference to the lives of our residents and their families. Our ideal applicants will have a ‘can-do’ attitude, a caring nature, excellent communication and listening skills, flexibility to work on a rolling roster and reliable transport.

You will need to be:

  • Friendly
  • Trustworthy
  • Ethical
  • Caring

As a caregiver, you will need to be committed to providing the best possible healthcare services to residents and their families. Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred, but if you can demonstrate a passion for looking after the elderly, then please contact us.
